Fragments of a City

This piece holds a special kind of energy for me. The vertical and horizontal strokes remind me of weathered walls layered over time, each mark carrying its own story. I poured deep reds and earthy browns into it for a sense of grounded strength, then let gold shimmer through like light finding its way into hidden places. The teal and white streaks bring a breath of movement, almost like the city and nature weaving together.
