“As I painted this piece, I was drawn to the idea of light emerging from darkness — fleeting moments of illumination that feel both powerful and fragile. The bursts of gold, peach, and orange against the deep black background reminded me of embers suspended in the night, or clouds lit softly by fire from within. It’s a reflection on contrast — on how even in shadow, there is always a quiet, glowing beauty.”
